Listed Contents

Section 1 - Landing Page
Section 2 - Top Bar
Section 3 - Side Bar

Landing Page

Whenever you log on to myday you will land on the dashboard that has been assigned to you as your home page. As an administrator you can alter this landing page for users from the sidebar then 'Administration', then into 'Landing page rules'.

From here simply choose the audiences that you have set up in the ID Management App then assign them to the dashboard that you would like them to land on.

Don't forget to press  after making any alterations

Top Bar

Toward the left of the top bar will be the description of the section of myday you are currently in followed by actions that can be taken. Actions are always CAPITALS.

In this case we are on the home dashboard. Here you can either 'PERSONALISE' or 'EDIT'

When editing Dashboards 'PERSONALISE' will allow you to make alterations to your dashboard as a user. Whilst 'EDIT' will allow you to make alterations to the dashboard platform wide.

Toward the right of the top bar will be your quick links

  • Notifications - here you can view and clear notifications received
  • Links - access links that have been shared (to edit go to Administration > Links)
  • Help - Search for articles to guide you through all areas of myday
  • Profile - View your own profile, preferences, services, active sessions and privacy policy
  • Search - Allowing you to find tiles easily on your dashboard

Our new Search feature is currently in our Collabco Labs environment undergoing testing. For more information on Collabco Labs click HERE.

Side Bar

The side bar is available to all users. However what a user sees is down to the permissions that they are set. From the top down:

If you have enabled 'Feedback' in 'Administration'> 'General', users will be able to provide a rating and leave comments.

To view feedback go to 'Administration' > 'Data' > 'Feedback'.

Next are the Dashboards that users have access to.

Administration and Content Management will only be available to those users that have administration permissions set from the ID Management app and will not be displayed for your general users.

Apps can be enabled to be displayed in the side bar for an additional way for a user to access the relevant information.

If you prefer for Apps not to display in the side bar you can disable this in the tile settings when editing the layout of a dashboard.

Please note, if you have been granted access to be an administrator of the Banners the administration can be found within the App section of the side bar by expanding the drop down.
